Kuschall Air Lite rigid manual weelchair -

This has served me well for a few years now, but as my disability has progressed, I need arm rests and as my movements are clumsy a heavier chair This is RIGID not foldaway very light and made of aluminium It has a vario axle which means the wheels can be angled. The largest angle means the brakes do not catch. The chair looks like you are just about to play basketbal!l The tyres have just been changed and the front castors are new. The chair has just had its annual service It has anti tippers (thank goodnes) which are adjustable The wheelchair made my Kuschall which is now owned by Invacare as they recently bought the company It has what are called spider wheels with high pressure tyres. Just these are 600, so about the same as a cheap chair Take it from me, this is one brilliant chair At the moment the back fabric is ripped as I fell onto it, so it cannot be used properly. Thus the price The seat is 400mm wide by 400mm deep ie 16 inches From wheel to wheel when they are almost closed the chair is 600mm and the wheels are also 600mm in diameter (standard 26inch) The back also folds down flat to the seat As with some chairs the wheels are easily removed as well as are the push handles New in 2004 this chair cost 1,750
